Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2022-08-16T15:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2022-08-16T15:24:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S24W12
Active Region Number: 13078
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: The source is likely an eruption associated with AR3078 (S24W12). The SDO 193/304/171 A imagery shows a brightening across all wavelengths and some ejecta leaving the active region. There appears to be a divergence in the ejecta noted in the 193 A imagery with a portion of the ejecta deflected to the west and a portion deflected to the south.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |
